Pinnacles of Civilization is an ongoing series of drawings
where I construct alternate variations of faberge eggs that deal with the paradoxal relationship between greed and squandering within modern day capitalism.
Where supply always has to outnumber the demand, and free market ideals are hijacked by a form of hyper-capitalism that is focussed
on ever expanding growth with market domination as the ultimate goal.
This series was nominated for De Grote Prijs Actuele Tekenkunst Ronze 2019 (Ronse Drawing Prize)
